KSEA
Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) is a non-profit professional organization, established in 1971. The KSEA activities or programs are co-organized or co-sponsored with KUSCO (The Korea-U.S. Science Cooperation Center) and KOFST (Korea Science and Engineering Foundation). KSEA headquarter is located in Vienna, Virginia.

Objectives
•  To promote the application of science and technology for the general welfare of society.
•  To foster international cooperation especially between the U.S. and Korea.
•  To help Korean-American Scientists and Engineers develop their full career potential.

KSEA-GA
KSEA Georgia Chapter (KSEA-GA), as one of the 60 KSEA local chapters, is the association of scientists and engineers, who live and work in Georgia. KSEA-GA conducts local events including seminars and picnics, and also supports the KSEA HQ's programs such as YG (Young Generation) forums at KSEA HQ and in Korea, scholarship, internship, annual UKC (US-Korea Conference), and National Mathematics Competition (NMC).

KSEA-GA Membership
The KSEA-GA chapter welcomes anybody who is interested in science and engineering and willing to share knowledge and information on his/her specialties. Membership of the chapter is open to students (undergraduate and graduate levels), researchers, and engineers.

Membership Application
Two options are available: (i) For Online Application, please visit KSEA or (ii) Download the Membership Application Form (MS-word document or pdf) and send a filled application to Dr. Byeong-Uk Kim ( ), Executive Director of KSEA-GA.

Membership Types
•  Regular Member ($35/year)
•  Graduate-student Member ($15/year)
•  Undergraduate-student Member (Free)
•  International Member ($35/year)

Membership Benefits
KSEA offers you opportunities to serve fellow scientists and engineers in the U.S. and Korea.

•  Leadership development through committee activities and conference organization
You may participate in one of 14 Technical Groups and 10 Standing Committees. You may organize technical sessions at the annual U.S.-Korea Conference on Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (UKC) or organize a regional or local conference of your own.
•  Development of broad professional foundation KSEA is unique in that its members come from all fields of science and engineering. The UKC offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with others in different fields.
•  Networking with other Korean-American scientists and engineers Join the Technical Groups and Committees, or come to the annual conference, UKC.
•  You may use KSEA Office while in DC If you need a temporary office while in DC, you may come to the KSEA Headquarters office. Nominal charges may apply for office support or supplies.
•  Participation in technical evaluation and consulting KSEA will contact you when your expertise are sought after.
•  Opportunities for community services How about helping out with computer skills? You may participate in community services and activities sponsored by your chapter.
